  1. I have plenty of DVD's ready to be burned. I know how to burn them, thats not the issue. What i'd like to know how to do is how to add menus, chapters, and 'play all' and 'choose by track' functions within the menu.

    Can anyone tutor me?

    what do you use. I could use something else (if its simple enough). I just want to do the DVD's slightly proffesionally

    Well, I think I've tried just about anything! They're all different. Let me see.

    Just Google on things like "create my own dvd chapters" or "create your own dvd menu".

  10. I use NeroVision Express. Here's how to do it.

    Fire up Nero SmartStart from Start > Programs > Nero > Nero SmartStart
    Click Make DVD and from the pop-out menu choose DVD Video
    Click Add Video Files. Add all the DVD files by selecting them all and click Open.
    They'll analyze, after which they will show up. Then click Next.
    Edit the template how you want and click Next again.
    Play with the DVD setup with the virtual remote.
    Then choose the parameters for burning and click Write.
    After an hour or so the DVD should be written.

    There are options by clicking More in NeroVision that allow you to add chapters every five minutes or something. This works wonders for my recorded TV shows.




    Or I use this way sometimes too.

    Open DVD Shrink (3.2.0.15 is the latest) so download that.
    Click Open Files button at the top of the menu.
    Select the folder containing the DVD files.
    The video files will be analyzed and the green meter at the top should not say higher than 4464MB.
    Then click Backup, choose in Backup Target to be Nero, specify a place to stick the temp files (usually C:\DVD is fine).
    Then sit back and wait, when you're asked put in a blank DVD and the disc burns.

    This way is very quick - and I use it quite regularly.

  12. just a quick question for you guys. I recently bought Nero 8 and want to burn all the U2 DVD's i've downloaded onto DVDs. i was wondering how do you import all the files that make up the DVD (menus and all that other stuff) and not only the actual video files??? at the moment i can only import the video files and not the "whole" DVD... any help is appreciated...
