    Normally, they shoot the day of the broadcast, but not "live." Since all those show's jokes are so topical in nature, they can't really have a show without the writers, so they're showing re-runs. (Last night's "Letterman" was from a few weeks ago...)

  8. Good morning to all, just woke up! It's probably early morning over there in UK. It's 9:30 here, that would make it 6am for you guys!
    Ripping audio from a youtube video: I think the only way to go would be using a voice recorder software, the same thing as you would use to record from your microphone, but you have to change the source from the microphone to the computer. That's how I got Mr.Cash's Run On as mp3
