The perfect text message alert is..........the opening 2 seconds to "One Tree Hill," right before Larry comes in clicking the sticks against the drum.

    Hey all!

I attended a saxophonc concert yesterday, where they played a version of Louis Armstrong's Wonderfull World. Quite cool to hear, I must confess.

Sounds nice, Casper. I once went to a saxophone concert: I had to for school (CKV). It was more fun than I tought. Saxophones rule! (Angel Of Harlem!, Muse - Knights Of Cydonia, Dire Straits)

Indeed, didn't know what to expect yesterday but I was suprised with it.
  11. Quick question for everyone - on Vertigo tour, Bono used RTSS and Miss Sarajevo as tributes to people in the armed services across the world etc. Now, I can understand Miss Sarajevo in that it is a political song, but RTSS? I could never quite understand why a song about heroin addiction was used as a tribute to the military forces across the world...

    Any ideas?

Yea...it seemed weird to me as well...the opening lines do go with it tho, imagine a female soldier in iraq, tired of the everyday mess that she has to witness:

    So she woke up,
Woke up from where she was lying still
Said I, have gotta do something
    About where I'm going...

Kinda tired of what she has to do everyday, it's more of a "bring them home" song this way.
