Do you have the thumb switch gear shifter? How cool are they. Thats my favorite thing about the bike (apart from the brakes)

They're priceless on the hill, no doubt.

I do have those and they're amazing. I used to have twist-shifters on my last bike which were a nightmare.

And I've never had discs before..... OMG

Twisters were brutal to use. One clunk with the thumb and bang, you know which gear your in. Fantastic. This bike was my first with discs also. They are just stunning. I've tweaked mine so that an absolute murder yank on the lever will stop me in the shortest distance humanly possile. I do like to lock the back wheel up every now and again though

    See you soon mate.

So the kitty is a gonner is it? Must be a tough job at times.

On a more positive note locking up in the gravel is awesome. I do like leaving big black lines on the tarmac to. Shreds the tyre but massive fun/

'Fraid so. I'm not going to go into too much detail on the boards, not sure it's appropriate; but it was very quick and he's at peace now.

    It's worth the new tyres........

    Done immediately.

Unknown if has an owner but it was getting on a bit. It's still a tragedy but you can't get away from these things in life.

I get plenty of highs to compensate for these lows. It's important to have other interests too (hence this place!!)

Think we've just had that mother of all rainstorms too. And its all just stopped equally suddenly.
    Wierd.

I'll take the lull in rain to get lunch......
