Mofo - cheers mate! And yes, it finally does - I can now get pissed on my own terms lol! Catch you later chap!

    Steve - there were 5 legs, I can never remember when the different legs came and went if you get me, but I would recommend;

2005-03-30 - 2nd night of the tour proper, great setlist but you wouldn't recognise it compared to later shows, the encore and latter part of the main set are entirely different

The Chicago DVD (for the most part) is a first leg show, so that's fairly good recommendation (just watch it, the boot itself isn't great - i.e. get a DVD rip )

2005-05-28 - last night of the first leg, great show, best encore of the Vertigo tour!
  4. Happy Birthday Harry . Why am I still awake , Good night everyone, or good morning to you Aussie Mofo's down under .

Cheers chap - the only reason I'm awake is because I've got an afternoon exam so I get a bit of a lie-in lol...

An exam on your birthday, a bit harsh of the exam board, they should know better . I get a lie-in because my next exams on Thursday, a bit of a break from the 48 hours of hell I had from Thursday to Friday. Good luck anyway

Ah, lucky bugger... I know, it takes the piss doesn't it? Better than my GCSEs, in year 11 I had a French exam on my birthday (15th or 16th, buggered if I can remember which year it was...) - at least today it's a Classics paper which I like to think I'm fairly ok at. After today, I have exams Thursday, Friday and next Monday, and then it's freedom! Of a sort...

sounds cool... I have a lossless boot from Bootleg Archive of the Chicago show (I think). Thanks for the suggestions, they will be added to my album/era list.

I hate iTunes.... I bought October, but it never downloaded. Now iTunes says that it was downloaded. WTF?! It never downloaded! I want my money back on my account, or the download of the October album. iTunes, I'm watching you! You've already screwed me with having to buy the entire Lennon Legend, now October? Don't make this personal

sorry, had to get that off my chest... been bugging me for a day or so.

Cool. I've got a 16 GB iPod Touch

If it could sing one line from one song, it would be:

"I gotta go, I'm running out of space. There's a lot of things, If you could should rearrange"

I also have my old 30 GB iPod video. The box has a picture of Bono singing Original of the Species. I remember watching Bono sing Original of the Species on the iPod commercial too. One of my favs. I think tv has a lot to do with what people buy for music, as it does with me. The only things that weren't tv inspired were the Who and the Rolling Stones. Any offshoots of those bands were self led.
Self determination just feels awesome, especially if the end product is as good as hoped, or even better. For instance, I've had a music project that is like a "soundtrack to my life" sort of thing. Started last summer. So far I've had Summer '07, Fall '07, Winter '07, and recently finished Spring '08. I've started my Summer '08 playlist, but I don't expect it to be as good as '07's. 07's has flow. One trend leads into another. This one kinda has mini "sets", the first 15 songs seems like a setlist. Then again, it only has 15 songs. Now that I think about it, screw the mini sets way I've done some of the older playlists. Summer is long, and isn't in segments. Here's to following no rules for my new playlist!

Sorry about that rant... I'm preping for my English exam tomorrow...
  11. Anybody around?
  12. Not the reason how I found U2, but perhaps a twist of fate??????

    iPod was purchased Dec 2005. I became a U2 fan Aug 2007.

and yes, I photoscanned my old iPod box, which I still have
