    Okay, that's way more fair than the CL. The best teams are going trough in that system, in the CL that's not always the deal...Are you we gonna win the group?

    Then you probably have to pay a 1000 dollars for one ticket...

    Sorry Mark, had to but in here - the best teams DO go through in the Champs. League, just not necessarily the ones you want. Not everything revolves around reputation

    the winner of the last tournament plays in the 16 round and the big african clubs like the egyptian clubs plays in the 32 round

    no it may cost 100 LE or may be 25 dollars

    Yeah, that's true, but I think it's more fair if they play in groups, because you play more matches then and the best team of the group is then truly the best team...IMO...

    i must mention that every team plays two matches , one on their stadium and the other on the other team stadium

    Hmmm - a huge 'Round Robin' league would be cool to watch (i.e. TV 24/7 lol), I'll say that, BUT impractical. You'd have 30 odd teams playing 2 leagues at once in a season (domestic and European), the players would be dead by the end of it and the fans would be broke.

    Sounds exactly like the type of thing UEFA would suggest though

    I like the way it's run at the moment, it adds a competitive edge to proceedings aswell as making for great viewing. Unless, that is, you don't have Sky...

    The marketing for the champions league is amazing, the Logo, the Music, the Set up, It one of the best run tournements in any sport.

    I understood that, but I think two matches are not enough, but as Harry indeed says; the players would be broke, so maybe this system has it's benefits after all....

    i agree with that this system is wrong , especailly that the CL is played after the end of the local league , so the players can't get enough rest
