    No, I have the boot of the 1st show and the rip of the DVD. It's still not worth joining though.
  5. They're offering a CD of Slane 2001? Wow, U2.com must be getting desperate. What a shitty gift.

    What about a gift choice? This could be the entire soundboard recording of Red Rocks and later on release worldwide the full, unedited version of that show on DVD. I'd subscribe straight away.
  6. Subscription lasts a year right? So there is a chance that joining will lead to some concert benefits (tickets etc) in the next 12 months (long-shot, but still a chance).

    And the gift is better than last year, if only because they've thrown in a T-shirt too.

    I appreciate that nearly all of us will have burned Slane, but it's nice to get the pretty packaging and we are towards the extreme end of the spectrum in our devotion.

    I do agree though that something completely new would have been better.
    I suspect I'll get it though; especially in US $, it's a steal at the moment.

    Well, I got called in for an interview on Friday afternoon. They said I did very well on my computer test and that's what's got me in for the interview. Only working weekends, but hey it's some work and that's fantastic.

    But they asked the one question which I hate - give us one of your weaknesses. Man I hate that question.

    I came up with something like "well, a weakness is something that you're not very good with. And mine would be listening to a customer's problem and coming across that problem for the first time, and being weak in at first not being able to solve it. But I could think about it, research, get some heads together and together we could turn it into a strength, so it's no longer a weakness, but a strength". And she liked it a lot.
