Yep, a good horse doesn't make a good horse rider. Though Rijkaard is a good coach nowadays (Barcelona), Gullit and van Basten are really not at this moment.

Cruyff was different, he was one of the most amazing football players ever and a fabulous coach, especially in Barcelona where he won everything year after year. Too bad he stopped coaching.
  2. Quick quiz question..........What was different between Cruyff and the rest of his team-mates in the 1974 World Cup,not a trick,it's true trivia.

Plus, how did he get to wear the number 14 shirt ? And don't say."......he put it over his head.".

    Answers.......

The Dutch squad in 1974 were sponsered by Adidas (3 Stripes),Cruyff by a firm called Patrick (2 Stripes) so he was allowed to remove a stripe from his shirt & shorts....

No 14 shirt ? Dutch squad numbers (1 -22) were allocated A -Z,except for Cruyff because if this happened he would have worn the number 1 jersey. So he chose 14......

Another example of this is the Argentina squad in 1978.Osvaldo Ardiles wore the number 1 shirt and he was a great midfield playmaker.....
