Hahahah, I'm from the East of England, and as with most rural places, it's 30 billion miles from anywhere interesting
  5. Hello all, just came back from the weekly jogging sessions (5 km) and I broke my own record while it was raining...so I came home, totally soaked. But there was a reason to smile luckily..

5km...that's more than I would ever be interested in running distance-wise, but I'd probably do something like that whenever I get the chance to play footy or rugby lol!

I love sporting around in the rain though, have to say

    How goes, Casper?

Fine now, just had a shower..but my laptop had problems with the internet, so I had to take the main PC. 5km is just a good distance, not too far and not too short. Me and my brother are planning to run a local marathon in December here. We've been jogging now for 2 years so it's time to actually test ourselves with the real folks.

But how's life there in England, mate?

Meh, damp, cold, dull lol. I'm fairly upbeat though, not sure why but I'm just feeling grand about things lol.

On other matters quickly, was just looking on the WOWY entry on here and the videos there are - www.youtube.co.uk/watch?v=FdB9J5_V3WQ; something else, eh? I found a version where some guy used the same technique but on an acoustic, bass and vocals, was pretty impressed with that too.

I came across a cover by a Japanese band called "GLAY" - very different, but I thought it was a good version

Ever heard the piano version and the string version of WOWY? Just awesome....if you want them, including other Joshua stuff (string, Piano is all kind of U2 stuff), just PM me.

Are they U2 or, as I'm assuming, other bands' work? Sounds good though - now I think about it, I'm thinking the string version might be the Philharmonic version from that cover album they did? (which, by the way, I wanna get hold of because they did WGRYWH too )

It is, and that one is awesome...the Piano stuff is from the Desire Piano Tribute album.
