    My mom teaches me. Most of the time it's easier than regular school because there are no distractions. I like it a lot. But we also belong to a homeschooling group that meets every Monday. We have some classes there that the mothers teach.

    well... at least it's cold outside.... that could have made easier to stay put, but here the heat is on!! it's a day to be at the river or at the pool or preparing a nice barbeque!!! haha!!!!

    Not missed much really. Some chat about iPods earlier and some debate as to how to get the newly available videos of Stay & Desire from U2.com ripped to mp3 for the site.

    Good on you. I gather it's pretty popular in the US. Here, hardly anyone except the super-wealthy does it. Shame really because the state-funded schools are, as a rule, shit and getting worse. Some exceptions obviously, but generally poor.

    Would need some dedication from the parents as well as the child though and a section of society's parents couldn't give a shit.

    glad to hear it's at least sunny... but we enjoy cold, so it's ok! here it's way too hot!! haha!
    I'll check out that chat about ipods..
    the other day I was at a mall with a friend and they opened a Mac store.... they had the U2 ipod 30G. Price was around USD 500.... (they only have 2 left).... I was very very sad... it's almost my salary....

    at amazon it was about USD 250 or so....
    I guess I really have NO chance to get a hold on that edition

    That seems a bit steep! How do they get away with that?

    All iPods are much the same and you do play an inflated price for the red clickwheel and the etched signatures. Just get a normal one and stick loads of U2 on it!!
