    Agreed.

I noticed the U2.com on the intial page has changed. And obviously there's some chages to do with the Slane subscriber gift.

Maybe it's just little subtleties; almost drip-feeding it to us by osmosis...

To be honest, I only look at it when a link from here takes me there.
  3. Still a poor subscriber gift though. Honestly, it's not worth it in the least unless you want a quick $50.

If anything, the tour will happen in late 2008 or early 2009.

Love Town (start 1989 end 1990)
    ZooTV (start 1992, end 1993)
    POPmart (start 1997, end 1998)
Elevation tour (start 2000, end 2001)
Vertigo tour (start 2004, end 2006)

Two or three years apart for each (excluding POPmart). Hopefully it continues like that.

And good job on the Actual Status.
  4. I think you're right. If they can get it sorted there will be a single late summer, an album early autumn and then a tour to start with a few dates late Nov/Dec. I can't see a spring release (although I wouldn't complain!!).
  5. I can't believe these people are online and don't visit us in the forums.

Some are regulars but others not. Come on!
  6. What if they release it tomorrow?

These guys I recognise from the forum. The others I've never heard of. Just boot takers I guess. Hopefully they'll dip in. Took me a while.

On the same day as my JT special arrives

I think I would physically faint.

Wouldn't it be so cool if we all got an e-mail from U2.com to say that they were going to be releasing a digital only album in 7 days time, like the Radiohead thing.
  9. They should.

Were there any good songs on that Radiohead album to begin with? I'm going to send u2.com an email like this:

"G'day there! I was wondering if U2 are releasing a new album soon? Don't tell me to check out the site for the latest updates because you're always three months behind. I'd like to know because as fans, don't you believe we should be kept up to date? Surely being run by a member of one of the band member's immediate family, he'd know a little more to pass on to the OFFICIAL site? Oh yeah, and why re-release Slane 2001 as a CD - we got it all back in 2003, so why again? Why not the full Milan DVD or something exciting like a new and unreleased Vertigo DVD?".

Also do you know when their first show is to be, as I want to actually get tickets this time?
  12. And a lovely reply.

They're so hopeless they don't even thank me by my name. That's suckfulness.
