    Random question. Why are all the Lovetown shows (I'm on a mission after last week's boot) in Japan so short apart from 1989-12-01 - Osaka, Japan - Osaka Castle Hall? Any idea? They're all 17/18 songs whereas the show was normally 20-21. I know in Amsterdam they shortened it for Bono's voice but no notes are down on VertigoTour.com for the Japan dates?

    Bono had terrible voice problems during the December shows (a few were even cancelled). Crap, painful voice = shortened set. He just about got his voice back for the Point shows

    Yeh, I see now that it stayed that way in France and Germany. Even the first Depot show was only 19 soings (but what a 19!).

    Sucks for the Japanese though. Unless they were at Osaka Castle. (I think I have that boot on CD somewhere from my pre-enlightened days......)
