  1. Damn, I haven't been here in ever. First the good news. A couple of fairely good local bands have new years eve gigs. Gives me something to do. Now the bad news. A friend of mine caught his girlfriend screwing another guy. What would be a good way to help him through this?

    That's tough. Maybe make him a CD? I can think of some U2 songs in particular that could help, even if he doesn't like U2. But most of all, just be a friend. That's the best thing you can do right now, just let him know you've got his back.

    I've got a two hour plane ride tomorrow evening, so I'll be listening then. Probably not ideal listening conditions (battling the hum of the jet engines)...oh well.
