    Chris Martin is no way a better singer, his voice (up to now) has always sounded the same and is not particularly great, and he's not as engaging a front man but I like the fact that he tries to embrace creativity in music. Coldplay wouldn't exist as they are (and would be a lot shitter) without U2, so I think that says a lot.

    I disagree about that, they have changed, but not to the same extents. I don't think they're bollocks BUT they're not groundbreaking because they're following in the footsteps of giants who've gone before.
