    The Window In The Skies single (the second one) had a version of Kite from Sydney on it. Now he wants to know why were two or so nights mixed for it (the solo and vocals were from separate nights in Sydney).

    Ali, the version of Kite that U2 released as the bside of WITSkise single was NT single rendition of the song, was actually a mix of some shows (Melbourne and Sydney I think), as a "compilaion" of Kites. He says that, 'why not releasing the 18th ovember version,which is fantastic on its own?'.

    Things look good on this side of the world...it's been snowing since early morning in Tehran! We've got around 25-30 cm of snow right now, which is beautiful and fun!

    how is your day doing???

    here at B.A. terrible weather, Temp is around 40°, we are literally sufocating!!! someone please turn off the oven!!! haha!!! and forecast says tonight's going to be worse......

    25-30 cm of snow, that's quite a lot! I've been iceskating today on the longest icetrack of the world, here in Holland. It's a 400m track and a 5km track. Was lovely...Holland is a typical iceskate-country, it was very busy with even some Frenchmen and Germans on the ice.

    Well, it's simple....perfection and getting it right - which sometimes, like Chicago DVD doesn't quite work.

    I know, always there are mistakes (except on the ZOO TV Sydney DVD, where I couldn't find any mistake - it's perfect), but for the people who were at the shows it must be some kind of piss-off to know that "your" version wasn't good enough...

    BTW thanks for that "knows everything has to do w/ bootlegs"

    Zoo TV Sydney is so cool...I mean, it's from one night only which makes it so consistent (have to thank Adam for that huge hangover ) and then it's also perfect, no probs with it!
    But...Chicago: 2 nights, Slane: 2 nights...

    Yep. I'd prefer that they filmed JUST one night always, and show us that DVD with all, the good and the bad. Everyone makes mistakes, fans wouldnt have any problem with that.

    How many fans over at u2.com and those sites (and those that buy only the official DVDs) would know about DVD bootlegs and the editing? I'd bet not many. I mean, it's not just happening on DVDs either recently...only last week did I find out after Gerard pointed out that the Under A Blood Red Sky CD was not fully recorded at Red Rocks!!! In other places too like Gorschausen (is it spelt like that)?

    After getting the Red Rocks bootleg I thought some editing had been done due to if you listen to ''40'', it's actually a different speech.

    And obviously Milan isn't consistent either.
