1. I found a new file sharing site that looks promising:

    It's at http://www.sharebee.com

Sharebee.com is file upload distributor, you upload a file to one of our servers and our servers will upload your file to other file upload services. You will receive a Sharebee link which contain all the download links to other (external) fileserver websites. Our servers will maintain those download links as long as the Sharebee link has visitors and will keep uploading to new (external) fileserver websites when needed.

Is it against Sharebee.com ToS to copy/paste links directly?
No it isnt against our ToS, you may do that, but we do appreciate you pass the Sharebee link along. But when a user upload a lot of files on Sharebee.com but those links never has any visitors, our system might flag that user's ip and hostname as a spammer which result in an upload restriction.

    Heard of this one? http://www.wikiupload.com/

I hadn't until you pointed it out. Sounds good - and 5GB per file? Nice. The thing is - do both these services have decent download speed? I used one for a little while called FileXoom.com and I used to get download speeds of 70Kbps. Now doing a file from there you're lucky to get 7.5Kbps.

Don't really know...a friend of mine showed WikiUpload to me...5GB is good...but I'm not sure...their site is a bit fucked up! Click on Create Account, the countries list is...well, it's only Zimbabwe

What, uploading several files at the same time? Don't think so.

Nope, won't allow you to upload multiple files.

yep that's what I mean. I like using RS as you can drop as many files into the uploader as you want and it will just work through them. RS hasn't let me upload these past days. Thats why theres still no links for the Dortmund iPod video. Had the links upped to the RS uploader and started it last night. Checked them this morning and they hadn't even started!! Don't know whats up with it
  9. RapidShare has been so slow and useless for weeks now - I gave up on it and Megaupload works way better.

Here's others I've found which might be worth the time to look at:

    http://www.bestsharing.com
125 MB file size limit, split archives files, videos, and audios. Multiple 100mbps Linux servers stored in the United States so it's pretty damn fast. But nowhere near as fast as RapidShare.

    http://www.filecrunch.com
250MB file size limit for each file, split-archives allowed, free files removed after 30 days of no access, file download landing page has a downloads counter and a 20 second delay counter to allow download of the file.

    http://www.filemonster.net
250 MB file size limit for each file, no upload limits, no download limits, unlimited bandwidth, and all file types supported. 30 days no access deletion. Like RapidShare, FM goes to a page with a three-character code and 15 second delay.

    http://www.fast-files.com
500 MB file size, unlimited bandwidth and download limits, with a three-character code entry and 20 second download wait.

    http://www.filehosting.cc
send link to 1000 email addresses, 150MB upload limit and two multiple uploads allowed. You need to enter a code and wait for 15 seconds.

Well...it allows up to 5GBs...you could RAR the files into one file and upload that...don't know if it will give you good speeds tho
  11. cheers for that lot drew. Could you PM me that post? I might trial a few of those when uploading the iPod vid's
