  9. Hello all! Got a question: I just listen to the lovely Bad of Saitama 12-04. Does anyone of you agree that U2 plays Bad at the good-old way as they used to do late eighties? I like this version more than the Elevation ones..

    It is a good version, and to tell you the truth...I haven't heard any Elevation Bads
    But what I can tell you about saitama is that...it's 5-6 minutes long...one more minute wouldn't hurt!!! But it's very well done and powerfull, great to see Bono do the Wiiiiide awake and faaaaade away so well! Wish he had done sympathy for the devil in it too!

    Now that we're on Bad...why don't they do it complete in Paris 87? He doesn't sing the "seperation, isolation, in temptation..." part in it...and no snippets or anything

    Dont know actually, about the snippets..that's about copyrights, I think. I haven't heard the bootleg-version from Paris, maybe they cut something..

    And about Saitama..you're right. They should have continued after the snippet. That makes Bad so special. But I'm glad they played it like this...Also the 'oh-ho' part is back..'To let it go..oh, oh..' Bono didn't do it that often on Elevation.
