    aaaw...I missed him....I was typing the answer when for whatever reason I lost my connection...now it's back (maybe our ISPs are gas dependent too! )

    Here is my answer:

    We have problems that we shouldn't' have...gas shortages in Iran?! We supply the world with gas and yet we don't have it for ourselves!!
    There are no probs in Tehran tho, it's mostly in the far villages and small cities.

    And about the question...they are actually making too much out of it...he hasn't actually over ruled the president, he has just "reminded" him that laws made by the parliament are to be obeyed by the government.

    There haven't been over rulings by the leader tho, none that I can remember. The only conflicts between the government and the leader were in the first years with Ayatollah Khomeyni in power. One was Banisadr, the first president: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abolhassan_Banisadr , he was impeached and escaped.

    ...the other was Bazargan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mehdi_Bazargan , the prime minister during the interim government, right after the revolution, he was a great man, a liberal and a democrat, he found problems with the leader and after the attack on the US embassy he and his government resigned. Iran would be a much better place if he could have stayed and done what he thought was right...

  3. Talk about a nightmare. My band is gonna have our first public performance at a talent show next week. Due to the fact it is grade based severael members have to be substituted. Also I have to write a new song about how lame my class is, then figure out how to perform it in less than a week with severael people I have never practiced with. Oh well. Maybe It will impress the ladys. BTW, I'm gonna were sunglasses on stage as a tribute to the b-man.

  5. I'm thinking of snipiting a U2 song. Probally ASOH at the begining. Just the guitar riff and the first verse. Or not even with the riff. That or Gloria. I feel like being obscure.

    I'd snippet Gloria. If you really want to screw with your band, start singing snippets and go into the crowd for like 12 minutes like at Live Aid. Funny you mention ASOH, I'm listening to it now.

    Sounds to me like you should just start a new band with people you can actually get along with.
  9. I get along with them. Were all just opininanted. Truthfully I hope this performance goes well. Hopefully someone tapes it so I can show you guys. Than you can decide if I doe justice to the snippets.

  12. Wells that still being decide because this is a special performance. As of now here the lineup. (members will be refered to by initails for privacy)

    yours truely: Vocals and harmonica.
    GS: Guitar and vocals.
    JM: Trumpet and vocals.
    KP: Bass. Maybe vocals.
    AK: Drums.

    Possibility of female backing vocalist. maybe more horns and a extra guitarist or keyboardist.
