Don't go for a job if it doesn't tick the boxes mate. You'll regret it forever (or until you resigned at least...).
Make a list of what the job 'must-have' and stick to it, even if they offer you an Aston as your company car.

You have a gift, it would be criminal not to use it. Cash can wait, there's more important things. I'm sure the good lady will be happy to stump up for a little while longer.
