    Ergh, not as well as I'd hoped. I decided to stall WOWY for the moment because I was finding it a bit tough to bung everything together in sync. and probably need to do another few takes to get it right. I tried to record a version of The Fly and I have decided I'm probably going to have to record a "live" take, i.e. stick the backing track on loud enough for my mp3 mike to pick up and then play over it, because for some reason when I just record me playing (and have the backing track playing through earphones) I managed to get out of sync

    How about you? You got anywhere on that score?

    Meh, I ended up recording AIWIY, WOWY, UTEOFW, over backing tracks with my video camera....and then an impromptu version of "Love Rescue Me" which includes me singing .....not sure if that will ever surface here. I'm still fighting a cold so I sound more like Adam than I do Bono.

    You know what? I'm not even sure. I've been doing a bit of traveling this week, so I haven't been on here as much as I used to. Hope to change that though....

    Eh, not really. I've just been traveling up the west coast of the US, from Los Angeles up to Oakland, then Portland, and now I'm up in Seattle until Sunday. Just visiting family for a few days, that's all.

    Yeah, doing well. My dad and I have always enjoyed baseball, so we're going to a game together on Sunday in Seattle. Should be fun.

    Well, my voice isn't that great to begin with. I think I might have to file that performance of "Love Rescue Me" away with the "A Sort of Homecoming" master tapes from Dortmund...

    Ha! Yeah. I know where you're coming from lol...there are some rough demos I've done of various songs/medleys which shall never be heard by any ear other than my own because, if I may be a bit modest, I have a decent voice but it's inconsistent, and sometimes I really can't hit the notes aswell as I should...
