  5. interesting story here...

My father's uncle (who passed away a few years ago) had a wife abroad...they had a girl called Jennifer. Later they divorced and the uncle came to Iran while the wife and Jenny stayed, in England. A few years later they informed the uncle that Jenny had died in a car accident...they had mourning ceremonies for her and the uncle mourned her for a long time...till he died.
This is from about 50-60 years ago.

A couple of years ago my brother receives an email from someone called Jennifer ----- (our surname, censored...nothing personal, it's not safe for Iran!) asking about the ----- family. She only knew her father's name and she had googled the surname and found my brother...so...it turns out it was a lie and she's alive! She lives in Australia and doesn't speak Persian! Her mother had lied so that the uncle wouldn't take the girl to Iran! Well, the girl is now about 60 years old!

Anyways, she's here in Iran right now visiting us...I'm bored so I thought I'd share the story with you guys...sorry for the long "yadda yadda" kind of post!

BTW, she says she's gonna write a book about it...we should make a movie or something, it's so cool!!

I though I was a cert to win it at 65 quid. £100 was astronomical. Beautiful print so hopefully another will pop up. I'll now have to buy a few 7 inch vinyls and a poster or 2 to make up for it.
  10. Just bought a copy of Time Magazine from 1987. A certain issue titled 'Rocks Hottest Ticket'. Oh yess
