  3. For my sociology class, I had to read a book and write a 10 pg paper on Chicago's History and I chose to read The Adventures of Augie March. When I googled Augie March yesterday I found out that that there is actually an Australian band named Augie March. I listened to a couple of their tunes on Myspace, I really liked them

    I know there's a few Australians on here and I was wondering if you know anything more about this band? Thanks!

    Our internet provider was bought by a bigger company, so everything was being switched over. Quite a pain, as they have the worst customer service I've ever seen. Certain TV channels were out all of last week. Annoying, but we got a month's free cable out of it. LOL

    Augie March are a kind-of alternative rock band from Melbourne, got together in 1996. Albums include Moo, You Bloody Choir and a song, One Crowded Hour got to number one on the Australian Triple J Hottest 100 in 2006. They've been on record labels RA Records and SonyBMG.

  5. cool, thanks. do you particularly like them? i might search at the local best buy and see if they have their album, if not i'll probably just listen to them online, since i don't believe in buying music from iTunes.

    I avoid iTunes like the plague unless I get a free card given to me. But they're not too bad, the vocalist has a brilliant voice.

    Nope, I'm originally from the Pacific Northwest, so the Mariners are my team.... your a Cubbie fan, right?
  12. Mariners, eh? How are they supposed to be this year? I don't know much about the Mariners other than that Ichiro is on the team. Lou is a great manager for the Cubs as he was for Seattle.

    Yeah, I am a Cubbie fan. Born and raised on the Southside..... its very hard growing up in those parts and not being a Sox fan. I love the Cubs, sometimes too much.... I pray that this is the year and no curses jump in our way! Ha.

    I'm actually going to the game on Sat...I'm hoping to be 2-0 so far this season.
