Ah, I thought you meant like nameswise and like musically technically type thing...my turn to act the fool lol

But yeah I see what you mean - both have that riffy blood and thunder feel

Yeah, and I really don't prefer one to the other, to be honest. They both sometimes get lost in the shuffle of "the middle of HTDAAB"

Aha. I have a soft spot for either, just because they're good fun to play AND they are good songs in themselves (in my opinion). I prefer ABOY live because Bono usually hits the 2nd "allllllllllll because of you" on the choruses, whereas on the album/single he's flat, and at that volume, going offkey is magnified lol...

I hate singing flat/sharp, I hate hearing it (from any singer lol)...

You know, I've been listening to iTunes on shuffle for so long, i don't remember the last time I listened to an album straight through. Put that on my list of things to do....

The last time I listened to a U2 album the whole way through was about 3 weeks ago, I made myself listen to Pop (purely because I was tempted by new bootlegs) and wanted to listen to Miami again because it was the talk of the town a few weeks back lol...

lol, yeah, I think that was made fairly clear last time around

I like the version live from Leeds in '97, for some reason it really appeals to me, but the album version is....

Yup. Gerard doesn't seem to care for Leeds, but I love that boot. one of my favorites.

Definitely, I think it's one of Bono's best ever performances. He seemed REALLY up for it, and absolutely nailed the vocals. I wish they'd released that as the DVD, on a technical level, with that in mind...but that said, Mexico City was still PRETTY GOOD
