    Yikes.

    Harsh and not fair lol.

The shows with the Sarajevo broadcasts do seem to lose something because of the nature of the linkups - they didn't exactly lend themselves to a rock'n'roll show, with the seriousness in amongst the charade and the joy of a rock show.

Wasn't that the point though? Make the audience a little uncomfortable?

Yeah, but I mean Bono did make the point that it affected the band too, hence why it may have affected the whole performance as a whole. Still a great boot, with all that said

I think he was uncomfortable because he worried it would be perceived as a pure publicity stunt rather than trying to make people aware of the atrocities going on. But Bono is Bono...

He cares, but he also freely admits being a megalomaniac. That's all we can hope for.

Thanks. I'm the Phantom of U2Start. I slip in and out without saying a word... By the way, I finally did something I wanted to do for a while. I put the PopMart Mexico version of "Even Better Than the Real Thing" on my iPod. The reason why I'm glad about it... because it's the best version EVER!

    Not kidding, EVER!!!

I love it too. It's usually the first one I go to when I think "man, I want to hear a live version of EBTTRT..."
  12. Cool.

Also, I love that your song of the moment is Lemon, one of my absolute favorite U2 songs. Although I personally prefer the single version. It has more cohesion.

I'm still pretty lame in the listening to bootlegs department, though. I still haven't listened to any Lovetown Rotterdam or 12-30 or 12-31 Point Depot in full.
