    Boots all done by tour, city, date. Haven't got as far as splitting them into legs yet but I may have to if we keep going with the roundtable..

    And I hate when boots don't have the track name and you have to do it manually (but then I don't want to make too big a deal because I'm just glad to have the boot in the first place)

    How many U2 playlists do you have?
  3. i'll have to show you a screen shot of my U2 live folder. Tour by tour, Leg by Leg, then chronological order. Tracks are all labeled on itunes.

    I Will Follow (Live from Irving Plaza - 2000-12-05) eg. All 4000 tracks are all labeled like that

    Please do cos mine's starting to get messy.

    And I've noticed with the iTouch (didn't get this so much with the videopod) that because I search by song more (it's just such fun to do!) I get a list of 43 Where The Streets Have No Name's and have no idea which is which. I then have to go into them to work out which one I want. Frustrating.
    It's alright if you go by playlist, but even then, with the "Best of Live" etc type list, I struggle to ref where they've come from until the track starts playing.

    Your idea is much better. Major overhaul required I think.
  5. It is Major. I haven't made myself many playlists yet. Just a bedtime one and one for the bus. Have to sit down and make a few

    Album Tracks/Rarities
    Best of Bootlegs (the 5* ones - for me)
    Singles (all the released UK singles, int he appropriate version and chronological order)
    SuperSetlist (56 tracks - no holds barred!)
    Traditional Setlist (24 tracks; a "possible" concert; changes weekly!!)
    U218 Alternative (the "next" 18 tracks)

    These are just the U2 ones........

    Also:-
    Uni Memories (because for an old fart like me that seems so long ago!)
    Top Rated (all my iTunes 5* tracks)
    Recent Additions
    Muse Live
    Music Videos
    Most Played
    Best of the Best Continuous Mix
    Loud & Angry (lots of swearing and heavy guitar on this one...)
    Lost Gems (tracks I haven't played in the last 6 months; automatic update when synced)
    Family (for when the folks are over..)
    Driving (fast paced)
    Exercise (uhh, duh!)
    Classical (ditto)
    Best (Louder)
    Best (Quiter)
    2006 tracks

    I assume you meant me?

    The one's on my Video iPod were enough. There must be at least 20 more on iTunes that I don't have on the Touch (including about 7 other U2 ones, mainly boots). I have to have folders to keep track of them.

    Please get that shot of your U2 stuff - I'd like to see it.

    Just interested in how you organise them as you mentioned earlier in the thread. Can't get my head round the chronology thing without messing them up.

    Not at present. I've dabbled with the obvious one's (Chris Moyles etc) but never sustained it. I kept one of Chris Evans with Stephen Fry on because it was the most hilarious thing in the world. That guy has a brain the size of Jupiter.
    Had a world cup one while it was on. Have had Stuff magazine in the past.
    All the movie trailers come through as podcasts which I find a bit annoying.

    I like the soundof the tech one you mention. Can you recommend any others?
