Probably not - that said, I think the most realistic versions of warfare that I've seen on film are stuff like Gladiator, We Were Soldiers and Saving Private Ryan etc. - there's no glorious hero vs. hero shit, the opening sequence to Gladiator especially - you see big bastardly barbarians running around and getting clobbered by multitudes of Romans who weren't gonna piss about.
