    Yea. What I do is I use the program Switch to convert it to mp3 to a 320kbps bitrate. It may take up space but the sound doesnt suffer so much. The lossy format for aac files I believe is 128 kbps.

    320 is useless. Anything over 192 just balloons the file size. I hear no difference between the 2. Apple Lossless for my favorite bootlegs and all my albums and 192 for the rest of my bootlegs

    Really? Some of my files are in 320... I know my new project for the summer now!!!!!

    if you can hear the difference between 192 and 320 then you are superhuman but just look at the fdifference in file size. No noticeable sound improvement for 30% more space isn't a good trade off. If your listening to 320 you may aswell take the next step up and have full lossless asyou'l definitely hear the difference between that and everything else.
