  1. Yep so many lost but who has won?

    Its a shame but 'we' lost, starting from the day the western force leaves the Taliban will get more and more influential and in the end they will take back their power.

    You cant win from an ideology. For us its just a mission, for extremist organisations its about ideology. As long dying for the cause is heroic its easy for them to kill many persons without needing a lot of soldiers.

    Only way to win from the Taliban is from the inside out, Afghanistan itself needs a revolution. A clear cut with the past. And us arrogant, spoiled, countries should let them sort it out. We are just helping the extremists propaganda machines. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan made the world all but safer.

    Luckily in Holland most parties want to keep their original agreement: last soldiers home before Christmas next year. Only some (opinion here) stupid explicit Pro-USA groups changed their mind and want to revise that plan. Nothing against USA's policy from my side now. I just think its troubling that there was an agreement and now we let some guy control our armed forces and tax money.

    Its not my fight and I am not willing to pay for it. And luckily more and more people share this opinion now in Holland. We've done our share. Bring the boys home. They did more than well and they deserve the rest

    The Mad Monk (so called because he went to priest school) - a far right religious conservative who is now running a million miles from his quote a couple of months ago when he said "Climate Change is crap"

  3. I think America cant afford to lose in Afghanistan. Some things just dont mix. Islamic fundmentalism, and the possiblity of nuclear weapons are one of them.

  7. I don't see a single good reason to help them as long as they don't have valid proofs Iran are developing an atomic bomb. Why should men from other countries die for America's paranoia like they do in Iraq?
  8. USA has the most nukes. If we were like the USA the USA would definitely would be on our 'list'.

    Thought we left the cold war behind Preventive wars are ridiculous. We know what happened last time the USA told us there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq

  9. First off, you can all go to hell. Second off, the UK will back us, since Iran is fucking with them also. Third off, even if they do get Nukes, the US actually aint in much danger because A. They aint going to have the range, and B. If they did, the U.S. has the best Air Defense system in a country. What does scare the shit out of me, is the fact, that I woulnd't put them giving suit casenukes to terrorist out of the question, and when they do, I hope your the ones they use them on. Letting a rogue regime have nuclear weapons is possibly the dumbest idea ever. (except playing Russian Roullete with a clip loaded pistol)
  10. I dont consider the USA much more responsible with nukes. You are the only country who actually used them on another country in the past.

    You just dont see that all these wars make the chance of nukes exploding bigger Not smaller.

    First off, we used nukes to prevent greater casultys on both sides. Second off, like Russia woulnd't have nuked Berlin if they had beat us to it.
