Hence why we keep them in Cuba. Did you know some estimates say over 20% of terrorist relaesed from Gitmo, return to the field of battle?

I would too if i was captured by a country without a decent trial and without knowledge of human rights

Its a good thing gitmo is closed, too bad the rest of the world needs to help cleaning your mess. But thats just the kind of foot licking pets we are here in europe

Thumbs up for Haiti aid though!

    I say keep Gitmo open.

Closing its going to be pointless as hell, anyway, because it like like at this point there just going to transfer them to a diffrent prison.

Europe should grow some balls though.

  3. A tribute too soliders everywhere, in service of every country (no I didn't make it). Whenever I hear sombody bitching about the military, I like too point out that its because of the military they can bitch.

Edit: Is it coming up for you guys? It aint for me, I've had lots of trouble embeding lately, so if any of you guys wants to embed it, be my guest.
  4. Fixed your embed I respect the military, but not always the way they are used.

Soliders just do what there told, but you gotta respect anyone willing to give there life for there way of life. As someone planning on joining myself, I've given much thought too the matter. (I'd join now, but I need to get in shape first. Nothing but sandwhiches for me, until I see the recruiter)

The European Union is fucked up. They do everything for minorities while the main point of democracy, which is that the majority is in charge, is somehow being forgotten.
  7. A better tribute too solders than the one I previously posted.

    Yeah, I dig bagpipes. I'm 25% Scotch.

Edit: Once again I'm having embeding problemns. Anyone who wants to get it, will be in my good graces.

We could have won in Nam if the liberals haden't fucked it up so bad. As for Afghanistan, technically, it aint over, and let not forget, that we did take out the Taliban, which was one of our big objectives.

You wouldn't won in hundred years there. And you even shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Thats an urban legend, to the best of my knowledge. What did happen that I know of, was before the main attack happened, the destroyer U.S.S. Ward, found and destroyed one of the midget subs that was supposed to take part in the attack. In addition, a radar center, picked up the formation, but thought it was B-17s in from California.

In any case, various hypothetical studies have shown, that the fleet actually took less damage than they would have, if they had been warned about the attack, and taken to sea. Since the ships sunk in shallow water, many where raised, and put back in service, and many of the survivors managed to swim to shore.

The biggest mistake though goes to the Japanese. There intel failed, and not a single American aircraft carrier was in port at the time of the attack (although the Enterprise was a few hours out).

u know ur stuff ive been watching this AMAZING 6 part WWII doco and ep 4 was about pearl harbour and how USA joined the war, like u said none of USA's aircraft carriers were in port YET, and the japs didnt bomb the oil supplies.
