Yes, of course he was, but the "joke" (:?) in that image is that all of them proclaimed change as their main argument, etc... while Stalin was continuist with most of Lenin's revolutionary ideas, etc, so change was not his main focus point. If you know what I mean.

    Congratulations for getting the gist.
  2. Short news from Central Europe: Poland's new president is Bronisław Komorowski, the former Marshal of the Sejm, who won the election against Jarosław Kaczyński, the brother of the former president Lech Kaczyński who died in a plane crash earlier this year, the Czech Republic has a new right-wing government in spite of socialists winning the election and the same situation occurs here in Slovakia as we have a new government leaning to the right with the Prime Minister being a woman for the first time in the history of the country. Good luck to all of them On the other hand, Hungary seems to have trouble cutting the budget deficit and therefore the IMF is refusing to offer the country any more help and default is a rather realistic view of the near future.

I wonder what new controlling mechanisms Barroso comes up with this autumn.

    I might check it out.
  4. Turns out there actually was a highly organized effort in the lamestream meadia to divert criticism on Obama, and demonize his critics. Google "The Journa-list".

In other news the amount of Americans who belive Obama is a socialist is up to 55%.

All I got to say is what took them so long to figure that out?

If you want to live in a country where you have to be completely dependent on the government, thats your choice. I believe in little things called free enterprise, individual rights, self-reliance, self-improvement, and self-determination.

  7. Those values are just as idealistic as Karl Marx' communism.

You are not alone in this world, humans stick together. Also to much free enterprise is dangerous, just look at the crisis. Greedy banks misused the greedyness of some persons.

Its all about the balance. You cant do it alone, but you should not expect help either. Dilemma's.

Your comparing my idealism to Marx, among the first to propose killing off the 20 odd percent or so of society he felt unworthy of life?

Capitilism, is simpily the lesser evil.
  9. Yeah, your and his view is just a model you can put in a computer for an ideal society. Then nothing can go wrong.

But just look at free enterprise. Think of banks, oil companies and health care companies. You cant ignore that our way of live has effect on others not so fortunate. The figures might come close the 20% you mentioned. In some ways we should be glad that the Africans are poor, because if everyone was just as wealthy we are, we soon wouldnt have a planet to live on.

Fact is that all extremities are bad. And you may not like him, I know I dont. But Obama is far from an extremist.

Trust me he's an extremist. Look how many confirmed Marxist are in his admin. The man has taken over upwards of 60% of the economy.

Hes also really bad at taking criticism. He and his crazy supporters put and insane ammount of effort into demonizing his critics and are largely failing.
  11. You are overreacting. Any country in mind to imigrate to when Obama gets out of hand? Think Europe is out of the question judging on your criteria

Or would you rather have Bush take back power? That would be great. No need to zap to comedy central then

Obama makes me miss Bush, and I hated that guy.

Obamacare was the last straw. The Governement has absolutely no authoriety to make me purchase insurance or anything for that mater. It also has no authoriety to keep a list of how fat everyone is. The sooner it is repealed, the better.
