    I don't think they're laughing at us as a whole country I think they're laughing at our president. Someone in Mcain's camp said that Obama needed to go over to Iraq to see for himself that we are winning the war over there. I thought our genious president landed on the deck of an air foce carrier like 4 years ago and delared VICTORY A 21 year old kid from my town got sent home in a bag to his parents today . the funeral is tomorrow . his parents will miss him forever . WHY because some hick from Texas ( sorry Texas ,just one guy ) said these people are evil and we should go get them. I am struggling to put gas in my tank and food on the table for my 3 kids because he said evil .!! F.U.

    I think it's a cultural thing. There's a saying here "the village idiot" about how back in the old days, every town (maybe it's even a European thing?) had an idiot, someone who wasn't as smart as everyone else.....the joke is that some village in Texas is without their "idiot" because he's off running our country in Washington.
  6. Watched the news today and say Clinton and Obama campaigning together. The USA is a weird country...first they compete each other and now they bundle their strenghts. All for the sake of democracy though, I understand that.

    It's weird indeed...first they can't stand each other and then they compete together....that's funny cause they used to have different opinions...What are my american friends here voting?
  8. dunno yet, wish there was a better candidate ,a SUPER candidate who at least would talk about things that mattered to all Americans. All the talk has been about health care , which is a wonderful subject that concerns a lot of us , but what about the cost of food and the cost of fuel , no one has even touched the subjects yet , it's like they are scared to say anything.
    Mcain, vote for him he went through some hard times back in the 60's/70's, as a Vietnam P.O.W. Over 30 years ago ,suppose to vote for him out of sympathy . My father is a Vietnam vet. At 18 years old he was sent over, his first day in the field was one of the most horrific days of the war . He spent his first day carrying Dead bodies of his fellow servicemen down hill 881 s. 18 years old , from a very small farming village in Ohio. I'd vote for him over Mcain.
    Obama , don't know him so well. Oprah likes him , don't think he would still be in the race if it wasn't for her.I do like the Idea of Obama and Clinton together.It would eliminate the entire black/ white/woman/man thing in one fell swoop

    I respectfully disagree. Sure politicians are politicians. And in that, it isn't always our best interests that are at heart. But McCain was one of the Keating Five. It was he that was directly involved in the Savings and Loan scandal that occured in the late 80s/early 90s. McCain has made jokes about bombing Iran... all in all, he's a scary alternative.

    Obama perfect? Hardly. But he is far better than another 4 years of lies, deceit, warrantless wiretapping, illegal wars, illegally putting people in prisons without recourse, torture et al that the Bush/Cheney CRIME FAMILY have done. And McCane would be more of McSAME.
