  5. America was in a state of confusion....at the time we thought war was a good/bad thing, propaganda proving it was good outnumbered propaganda against the war. I must say, had Kerry been elected, John Edwards would be our VP right now. I'm reminded of Bill Clinton all of a sudden....

    I think McCain plays the POW card to make his opponent look "unamerican" or "unpatriotic" or whatever. He also uses it to make Obama look less qualified to be Commander in Chief.

    Villify? Please explain. I mean, I know what the word means - I'm asking you to elaborate.

  9. Whoa, slow down for a second. Democratic certainty may be the biggest oxymoron around. Dems are notorious for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Sure everything looks good for Obama, but I won't be convinced until I see his hand on a bible in January.

  11. I'm feeling pretty confident for Obama. McCain looks desperate and all the attacks they make are just ridiculous, and Sarah Palin is a joke. I'm leaving the country if she gets in the White House. God help us
  12. Obama's gotta do something extraordinarily stupid to lose. He's just gotta not fuck-up and he's home. They're pulling out all stops in the McCain camp. That Palin SNL piece was sheer desperation and it showed. She looked even sillier than she was...I didn't think she could get any lower.
