  4. I said play very very loosely. I can play guitar like that too. Its called strumming random strings.

Me too! I could play like that when I was 4. I'm gonna look it up some more.
  6. "A Day Without Me" and "I Fall Down" were the only one's that I remember Bono playing guitar during - on the WAR tour.
  7. Entirely nonrelated, does anyone know what guitar is used on Things To Make and Do?

Well, actually the chords he plays in ADayWMe are easily recoginzable. He plays actually quite good when he wants to. Look Stay on the Zoo TV.

Hello, here is a very good recording. It's a Radio Broadcast from Hamburg 1990-02-27.

  10. Things to Make And Do... I love that song. We used to play it in my band all the time.

As it was the B-Side to "A Day Without Me", it was released in August of 1980; before the BOY album was released... and to the best of my knowledge Edge didn't have the black Stratocaster yet... that leads me to believe that he used the Explorer on that. Sounds like the bridge pickup.

Although, I've not confirmed that with The Edge or Dallas. It's on my list o' questions for them. =O)
  11. Just wondered if anyone out there saw U2 at Derby Assembly Rooms, 20th March 1983? I'm just interested to hear anything about the show, the crowd, atmosphere etc. I'm originally from Derby and saw many groups there, but I'll forever kick myself, for missing U2!!!!
