1. Hi friends

I only could watch to Argentina agianst France...I'm surprised about the 2 matches...I thought France and England would win because France was playing at home and Englad have the best player...but Congratulations to South Africa and Argentina!

    Greetings from Brazil!!

All credit to Wales, they deserved to win but, Ashtons a joke, he picked players purely on reputation (e.g. Balshaw because Gloucester were winning) and Vickey lacked leadership, such as standing there with his head down saying nothing when Wales scored.

On a higher note, i went to see England Saxons and against Ireland A on Friday, First half was miserable but what a Second half. "VARNDELL FOR ENGLAND"
  4. Scotland ain't having much luck at the moment, 3-17 to france

    Nice one Gerard

Had been thinking about a topic on this. Mainly 'cos we won yesterday

Glad you won too but I agree it wasn't the best performance

He hasn't got what's needed. But I can't see anyone else obviously stand up to the plate. If Ashton's going to stick with Tindall maybe he could do it. But he shouldn't be in the team. Tait should.

sadly there is a certain lack of leadership in the English game at the moment, especially with Corry and Dallaglio retiring, maybe someone like Moody, Kay or Easter.

Moody's too temperamental. Kay maybe but he's prone to losing his head occasionally too. I would say Wilkinson but a) he didn't show any yesterday and b) I think it would put too much pressure on him.

I'd have actually gone for Lewsey if he hadn't been dropped...

Both Moody and Kay have lead Leicester on a number of occasions, but as you said they do tend to lose their heads on occasions and i painfully admit Tigers aren't the most disciplined team. Lewsey being dropped is proof that Ashton has lost the plot, why Balshaw?
