1. Joe, you were right about your second string team. If you had your full 1st team on, we would've been destroyed.

Quite a boring game otherwise, it was really slow. It took 36 minutes until any points were on the board. Got fast towards the end though, what made us win
  2. Nooooooooooooooooooo
  3. Was at the England vs Wales game yesterday. Been to a 100 something premiership games but this was my first England international (Saw Scotland vs Italy in 2009) so it was a pretty big deal for me. Some promising stuff from the new guys, although the mix and match team failed to really pick up the momentuem. Still a good game, spolied only by the mass subsitutions and the horrible injury to Sobbart.

  4. What's wrong?

And yeah Kieran, pretty uneventful match but good to see how players are coming back from long term injuries and some debutants too.

New Zealand look far too strong for my liking though. Can only hope they're peaking early for the WC. As for Australia, put pressure on Cooper and contain the front five and they can be vulnerable.
  5. Its the usually NZ, dominate world rugby for 3 years then choke when they get to the knockout stages (usually against an inconsistant french team), I don't think it will happen this time though, their at home in a country which has been damaged by a recent natural disaster, they will be up for this and i don't think they will be stopped.
  6. It has never sounded worse.

  7. David Wallace's injury is actually heartbreaking, really feel for the guy. He was in serious pain.

  8. Poor guy. Ireland were still poor though, Even worse in person.
  9. What about the stadium? I'm eager to see a U2 show there.

If it wasn't for the awful backing track and the karaoke style "come on" i thought the guy was doing alright, though i'll take a brass band any day for national anthems. Nice to see an improvement in England's backfield with the Tuilagi/Tindall (aka Trundell) partnership compared to two weeks ago, though the Flyhalf position still seems to be wide open. I'm sure with O'driscol and Bowe back Ireland attacking penetration will improve, though its doubtful that will be enough to over come Australia in the pools judging on both teams recent run of form.

  11. Stadium was lovely. It lacks the massiveness of Croke but it is a nicer ground all round. Took a panorama on the N8. A shaky hangover and a strong breeze marred the results slightly :

Great It looks definitely better than Croke, it's a wonderful stadium!
