1. dreamed last night that I was lined up in the GA line for Dublin 1 with Remy and Gerard, but then when we got to the door I realized that I'd left my ticket in the car.

  4. I had a dream last night that I met Bono. It seemed so real.
I asked him loads of stuff and I asked him why they don't play Electrical Storm and he said it was too hard to sing and he didnt want to mess it up. But then I heard them play it and it was amazing. I really thought it was real.

How weird is that? I should have asked him about Songs of Ascent

Once I also had a dream they were playing to me in a private concert! That was amazing!!!
  5. Well, the other day I had a particularly bizarre dream and U2 did happen to pop up rather prominently...it followed a couple of bizarre moments, one dreaming that a good friend of mine was playing the US Open tennis final and losing, then coming out and telling our group of friends that we all smelled (already slightly odd), then imagining taking my dog out for a walk in the woods and stumbling on a film set with Sandra Bullock, and then jumping into a conveniently placed 4x4 and driving off. However, where our boys come in...

...I wandered into a pub/restaurant bit with a huge dining area, and this stage had been set up with a walkway that criss-crossed in between all the various tables in the room, and at the far end of the room was the actual stage, and U2 walked on and started playing Def Leppard covers, notably Foolin' and Animal. Why, I'm still to figure out, but it was fairly epic nonetheless.
  6. I'm glad I'm not the only one that has had a U2 dream! My last one was last fall during the presidential campaign. I was on the campaign bus with Obama and we were talking about the debates and then Bono comes sits with us. I'm surprised by this and say something like "where did you come from?" and he just smiled. Then Bono asked me some kind of question about the One.org and I couldn't answer. Once again he just smiled, told me I must just be tired and let me lie across his lap to take a nap...then I woke up. It was very weird...I decided I need some other things to occupy my mind besides the election and U2!
  7. Weird-I had two u2 dreams this week. Usually I don't dream, so this is rare.

In one I had an interview with the band somewhere-i think it was off-stage the 360 tour, at dark. A group was with me, and we shook larry and bono's hand. Adam had to sit out from questions because he could see the injuries on his hand from playing bass-his hands were transparent(wtf?). I asked larry and bono if they ever wrote song together and they started talking about acoustic performances of sats. It wasn't until I woke up that I realized I had forgotten about the edge in my dream

The other night was weird so i can't really describe it, but I remember going to the 360 tour in foxboro and it was sick. They played an acoustic version of I'll Go Crazy. There was also some weird tunnel thing. An then i was pissed that I couldn't go to the second night because i didn't have tickets. Then i contemplated how fast stubhub shipping was.

The strangest thing is that I never care for acoustic versions of songs, and that I have tickets to the second u2 show.

  9. I keep having weird tour anxiety dreams, where everything's really bizarre and I can't see the stage or one of the band members is missing or something.
  10. Now, this is a thread you can just jump into, provided you have the hardware.

I've had at least three u2 dreams. Let me just briefly talk about the first one.

I had a time machine. What do you think I used it for? You guessed right: Go back to see PopMart. I got to be a stage hand and was watching it from the sidelines for what felt like a real-time minute (unusual, b/c it's rare for me to dream about being in one place doing one thing for any length of time). It was all that I'd imagined it'd be: Loud, colorful, mind-blowing.

    BIG *SS LOL

I gotta read more dreams. This stuff is sick (in a good way). Btw, you're not alone, my dreams are usually just as deranged.
