    5th leg was definitely the biggest improvement, he was actually hitting the high notes in Mysterious Ways (man inside the chiiiiild) for the first time in years. His Miss Sarajevo performances were amazing though on the 2nd and 3rd all the way through the 5th
  3. All rockstars and succesful bands get problems with drugs/alcohol. Take Keane for example. They got succesful and the problems immediately arrived. Also RHCP have had big problems with it, but now they're all clean.

    U2 has done well to cope with these problems. Only Adam had a slight problem with it. Maybe the others used it too for one time, just experimental. Drug problems and alcohol problems are band killers, see Queen, Guns 'n Roses etc. U2 has been succesfull for more than 25 years now, so I don't think any drug or alcoholproblem is involved nowadays.
  4. Does anyone remember not long ago that Australian fellow, Silverchair guy I always forget his name, and his comments about listening to his band's album with Bono during the Vertigo tour and smoking pot? I think he retracted it as a joke or summat.
  5. Oh, and I honestly can't imagine Edge doing drugs for some reason...it doesn't seem right.

    It is documented in Until the End of the World by Bill Flanagan. He took some and apparently found the secret to the universe and recorded it into a tape recorder, when he woke the next morning he went to listen to it but unfortunately The Edge was talking into the wrong side of the tape recorder and all he could hear was muffled laughter. Shame, really.

    Of course. They must be the inspiration, even though I think Edge has enough talent to make those solos by himself...

    I challenge you to get older and sing thousands of full concerts, shows, for TV/radio, at parties, special gatherings...for over 30 years and still keeping the same voice as you have now

    Well, I don't care since I can't do anything to stop it. If the smoker was my brother, I WOULD care.
    Since it's Bono, someone I admire but I can't do anythin for him.. I don't care
