I went into a local Wesco and got a 44 ounce Mountain Dew for $1.35. (damn good deal ) as I was walking down the road afterwards I heard a loud bang and tourned around just in time to see a mini van get broad sided and roll about 3 times were I just crossed. As I have some first aid training I ran down there as fast as I could. There was nothing I could do. The driver died about 20 minutes later. In retrospect I shoulda ran to the fire house as I was in a unique position were I probally coulda ran to it in under a minute but I misjudged the situation. Guilt has been eating me up ever since. What keeps me going is the fact I think my friends have a better life for knowing me and vice-versa. as soon as I get a license and a car I'm planning on becomming a volunter EMT. Hopefully, I'll be able to save at least one person on my watch. That 1 person could go on to do great things.

    that was a close encounter!!
glad you didn't stop to tie your laces!!
    thanks for sharing!!!

    awesome quote my dear friend!!!
  11. Very fortunately, I have no idea.
Probably somebody killed somebody else, somebody was caught stealing money, lots of other somebodies were not, and some kilos of cocaine were confiscated, and some other tons were not.
It's better not to know these things.
  12. another brazilian!
yeah, sometimesm it's really better if we don't know...
but, since yesterday there was a Brazil's soccer team game, i guess that's probably in every paper 'round here...
with a lot of other important things to say, but anyway...this is brazil!
