I've read an article in ''La Presse'' about it, seems the US gouverment has for a long time tried to relocate it outside of the Country because its alot of trouble for the city of NY.

The American gouverment is one of the only democratic gouverment in the world who stills doesn't accept some decisions made by the United Nations.

Some high members of the organisation are questionning the fact that their siege is in a country where they aren't respected (Somit on the climatic changes, every industrialized country was represented by their leader, accept AMérica. Bush whas having its own somit in Washinton ...)

And when Prime Minister Jean Chrétien was still in fonction moves where made to invite the organisation in Montréal.

Last week, plans for the UN bluidling where shown to the city and I think their incredabelly beautifull !

(for those who have already been in Montréal, the buidling will be placed right on the reverback in the old port wheew is now situaded silo n'5.)
