1. No worries.
  2. A quick urgent question...I'll ask away even though it might sound stupid!
The PSP...it has WiFi support, but is it only used for inter-psp communication? I mean...can you browse the internet with it, visit websites, download stuff...etc?

Yep it has it's own built in web browser (not all that great but usable). You can also connect to other psp's or use the wi-fi connection for online gaming. I haven't tried downloading anything other than a few games from the Playstation store.
  4. let's add another one...which one you think would win? iPod Touch or a Sony PSP?
I want to get it as a gift for someone...and it's important...she mentioned the PSP to me before, saying it's cool and she likes it a lot! But I'm not sure if she's seen the touch and compared it to that!

Thanks Gerard, then you can help me with the other question too!

  6. After owning a psp for a year I would say itouch. The dselection of games for the PSP is shockingly bad and the ipod beats it on all of the other fronts in regard to web and music capabilities. I'd definitely swap my PSP for a touch.

The PSP is great for games and watching movies.

The iPod touch can be hacked (only reason I got it) and the multimedia capabilities are outstanding - more so than the PSP (second reason I got it). I never got the PSP web browser to actually work - I tried for ages and gave up, and nobody I know has a PSP so I couldn't play against them.

  8. iTouch all the way. New games are getting better all the time on it too. Plus as the others said it kicks arse in all aspects

yep, I settled for the itouch. Can games and extra software be installed on it? I just ordered it and the guy in the store told me that you can't install any games or software on it

(Officially) they need to be bought from the App Store (either on the iPod itself or via iTunes on your PC). I have 4 screens worth of games and other useful apps on my iTouch.

So he's talking out of his bottom.

He likely meant that you can't install 3rd party software. But speak to Drew about that, he may respectfully disagree
