yup. On all EU sold audio players. Puts a cap on the top of the volume range so we can never fully get top volume. I hate Brussels. 160 pounds and you can't turn it up all the way.

amazing like. Whats the reasoning behind this? I bet someone hurt their ears because they had their player too loud. Then turn it down you knob (whoever you are)

People will not notice it, that the volume is too loud. Largest percentage of the users gets hearing problems after 10+ years, then it's already too late.

I'm not happy with the limitation either, but I think for most people it's a good thing, because it can seriously hurt your ears without you even noticing it.

in most situations its loud enough. Its like driving on the motorway. Would you like to have a car restricted to 70mph (because thats as fast as you need) or would you rather drive a 100mph car t 70mph. I'd take the 100mph car just so I could have that little bit extra
  11. itunes 7.5 released. I wonder if this solves any of my problems

    Own one.

Then say it looks better in pictures.

I still sometimes turn mine on just to play with the interface then put it down again.
Also, it took me about two weeks to remember to actually put in some headphones and listen to some music because I'd been so taken aback by the photo's, video, YouTube direct and internet. Full web browser. Zoom into pictures. It's soooo cool.

It looks plain without the screen on, I grant you. But turn it on and that all slides away.
