Fortunately there's a Mark II version which are apparently better. So all's good.

Do you still have your receipt? They have a 3 year guarantee on them. Saying that though, I have to buy a new pair every year and the rubber buds don't fit aswell as they did when they were new (cheap to get new ones though). Love them to bits and i'll never use another type of earphone but reliability is an issue.

Well, I have proof I bought them 6 months ago on Play.com, but no longer have the invoice thing or packaging. Was only about a month ago when the wires started to split at the little separator thing.

    These are the upgrade.

  3. I'd be sceptical about switching. i'm to used to and in love with the sound out of the current model. I'd be afraid of the improvement meaning different. That said, when these ones die I might aswell try the new ones.
  4. Plugging the thing into itunes and windows is recognising it as a camera?
  5. I am now online via iPod touch
  6. I dont want to put it down. What are the killer apps then?
  7. the jump from 80gb to 16 is massive. I'll have to keep the touch lossless free

  8. Congrats that you bought it mate! There are a bunch of awesome apps. iPint is fun especially around friends I just recently hacked my iPod and there's a much better selection IMO.

  9. Good man.

    Killer apps:-

    Free
    Facebook
    Google
    Google Earth
FourFree (Connect Four rip-off - great time waster)
Flixster (Movie times, reviews etc - finds your local cinemas)
    Units (little convertor thing, great)
    Sol Free (Solitaire)
    Sudoku
    Tap Tap
    SB2 Lite (like pong)
    Hangman
Shakespeare (ok, it's dull, but all the plays in a free app is pretty cool)

    Paid
    Wurdle (like Boggle)
Tanzen (little brain teaser one - there is a free 'lite' version)
    iPedia+ (Wikipedia app)
    Flick Bowling (Ten Pin)
Motochaser (bike racing - if you get easily past level 2, please tell me how...)
Monkey Ball (great to show off but tricky)
    Cro-Mag (rally game)

  10. Mine will always open iPhoto in case there's any photo's saved since last time (hold on a picture in Safari and it will offer to save it to the disc).

But it opens iTunes and syncs too.

As you know, don't do Windows, so no specific advice I'm afraid. Drew will be up soon
