    From Cydia, if you don't have it already, download Poof. This hides icons on your springboard (main application screen).

    SSH with WinSCP to your iPod and look for the /Applications folder. Drop and drag the blank apps to that folder, so you should have Blank.app, Blank1.app and so on.

    Reset your iPod, turn it back on and back in Poof, there should be some blank apps, toggle them on or off. Now drag them around and put your icons wherever you like. You can have an entirely empty top row, or just a few icons after doing this.

  2. Not massively impressed with the sound quality of the touch. it's way too bassy on all the eq settings. Why the hell do they use different sound processors on all these ipods? (choosing whichevers cheaper at production time id imagine). The touch sounds very like the 1gb Shuffle I own but nowhere near as good as the Classic imo.

  10. should I ask my parents to buy me for Christmas a 16GB Nano or a 8GB Touch? 16GB Touch is too expensive here, while in the U.S. store it costs even a little bit less than 8GB in our store

  12. This deserves a mini bump - it's not worth it IMO. I rather fix it up with themes and wait for something to come later
