1. Indeed. I always turn the EQ off - I notice the touch sounds worse with it on, while the classic sounds nice and crisp with or without it. These latest iPods just don't seem to have much quality control having gone into it. I'm sure you remember the classics at first and every problem they had. 2.1 software is still crap - Safari crashes whenever it feels like it, the music player stutters badly and apart from that, the screen sometimes doesn't work.

Plus, some of the songs I have are so quiet - you'd think iTunes would be able to increase their volume. Nope - too bloody quiet.
  2. Safari cranes several times a day on me for no reason and the touch as a music player is nowhere near as good as the Classic in terms of ergonomics and sound quality. If ever they sort the lossless issue out I'm sure I can adjust to the different sound. I also love the loudness of the touch.
  3. So it's not just me then with Safari problems. I haven't tried lossless on it before - I have heaps on my classic though.
  4. Hey guys, I just made a pretty awsome (imo) .gif avatar (my current one), but it moves a bit too fast. How do I change the speed of the image? I'm using "Gimp 2.6.3" software.

    Thanks guys!

Sorry, I don't know the answer to that one....
  6. Rapidshare question:

I was downloading shows last night, and when I clicked the DOWNLOAD button after waiting the 45 seconds, my browser crashed. Now, when I go to download a show, it says I'm still downloading one, even though I'm not, and haven't been since last night. Any ideas?

clear your browser history and cookie etc and do a router reset. Worked for me when I had he same issue before
  8. Safari crashing on a much more regular basis now and even when it is working it just refuses to let me tap on links sometimes without refreshing the page. Annoying

  9. any other ideas? i'm still locked out....

  10. Have you tried it in a different browser? (say your using Firefox, try IE or something)

This is what I'd do if I had that problem.

  11. Turning off the router or modem should do something. I've been trying to download from CrapidShare for ages now, no go because I got the same problem!
  12. Since the upgrade to firmware 2.2 I don't rcall having a crash in Safari. How odd.....
