I think you can get the phone now without going on a contract and just go pre-paid instead. So that would mean you still buy the SIM card from AT&T or whoever as pre-paid (not putting any credit on it), jailbreak as usual and then use yellowsnow in Cydia and use your normal 3G SIM. You probably want to use T-Mobile?

You'll have to stop by modmyi.com (ipodtouchfans are a lot stricter on that stuff) and ask them how.

Ay, you want a theme when it's done with darker buttons and less bright colours?

I talked to my friend and he said you can buy the iPhone no strings attached.

That works I guess. So I would get a prepaid plan from AT&T, use that SIM card, then jailbreak. 3G SIM? I think that's what my SIM card is, as it is comptonle with the TMobile Dash which I think is 3G or something.

    Thanks for the tip mate!

That would be cool, isn't that an option on Springboard/Winterboard though?
  2. Having the Nokia 5800 in mind
  3. I don't think it is. This is the buttons changed to more darker colours and transparent icons.

So there you go with the prepaid SIM.

So what exactly is the darker colors thing now?

Saving for one now...however 'tis 2nd priority

  6. got a problem you guys...

my pc (vista, 4GB RAM, quad 2,3GHz) is running wild for no apparent reason. got some usual stuff running like the internet explorer, msn, gdata internet security. minor stuff, actually, but the thing gets LOUD, internet gets stuck/slow, cursor reacts slowly as if I was trying to play some monster game or run a big ass programme. I think it's because of bittorrent, but then again, why would it make so much trouble? it never did before, I certainly would have noticed. scanner shows no viruses or the like.

pcs not old at all, got it in november. so, hardware-wise everything should be fine, I think. any tips?

I don't know much about computers, but heres what I would do.
    -Run disk cleanup
    -Run disk defragmenter

Do you have malwarebytes anti-malware? It might be better than your current anti-virus, Its what I use.
It wouldn't be bittorrent(I use utorrent and have never gotten a virus that way) Maybe the torrent search engines, or are you pirating software? Hope I helped

    Try:

    - turning off Windows Defender

    - uninstalling GData Internet Security, use Windows Firewall (it's good enough in Vista) and use something less resource-intensive like Avira.

    - updating to the latest Internet Explorer 8 or Firefox 3

    - doing a Disk Cleanup or Disk Defragmenter as mentioned.

    - using uTorrent or a different BitTorrent program - a lot have issues with Vista.

    - check the fan isn't clogged with dust and give the computer a general clean inside.

    - download Spybot and see if anything comes up with that.

    - run HihackThis and do a scan, saving the log file.

    - checking Task Manager for any huge memory uses
