1. I dont have an iPod but i think it will work. It will sound worse though. I assume the iPod will resample to 44.1khz internally. So best is to resample on the pc. Foobar has a good resample DSP plugin you could use during converting/encoding/ripping

I'll try it and see how it goes. Not like the iPod actually tells you anything anyway.

  3. 99% sure that it downsamples to 44100 though! I would be very surprised if it is 48000. Because most music is 44100.
  4. you guys need to get a Sansa Clip for your music. Sounds insanely good and plays lossless. A beauty

  5. I definitely will look into that. My Zen is still good but i hate that i have to convert lossless and video files. Now i just have to find the money

I just bought the 8gb clip for less than 50 euro. Plays FLAC, WAV, ogg etc just by dragging and dropping. All while being just a little bit bigger than the previous gen iPod shuffle. Also has an FM radio (and recorder)

Less than 50 euro's That is pretty cheap, 8gb is a bit small for lossless shows though. Does it have decent video support?

when its drag and drop though, 8gb is plenty.

    Video? Look at it lol

  9. Hmm video out of the question I still want bigger capacity though. My current one is 8gb and with a couple of videos its just a bit on the small side.

this things for audio only in addition to an 80GB iPod which lives on the sounddock. Perfect companion. Sound quality is better than anything i've ever sampled
