1. Just fell in love with the ps3 again. Media Streaming. WOW. All my FLAC and DVD's streaming perfectly from the computer to the ps3. Way to easy
  2. Life's good Plus you'll be able to watch the Rose Bowl BD version !

I still dont have a bluray capable device at home. My hdx-1000 can play BD-rips though. Still will get the BD, its more future proof than the DVD

On another note: just overclocked my phone from 600mhz to 700mhz. People have it running at 900 without problems, but i cant afford a toasted phone Even the 100mhz extra is very noticable.

Not very interesting but have nothing technological to say Well i can talk about 'Niet Lineaire Mechanica' or loosly translated to Non-lineair Mechanics. But it would only ruin even more peoples state of mind.
  3. The streaming means no more lost hours of burning DVD's. HD stuff is a bit choppy and i'm noticing a ten percent dip in video quality. Streaming via ethernet. Hopefully I can make a few tweaks. Not really that much bother. Lossless directly to the new speakers aswell.
  4. The PS3 and standard ethernet connection should be able to play HD without loss in quality :S Although taper's codec (settings) might be bugging you :S

Could be a connection quality issue on my end (router on a shitty dsl extension).

I'm more than happy with the SD stuff and audio streaming though. The time for a good powerful desktop is quickly approaching though.
  6. DSL connection does not affect internal network quality. Router maybe the issue though, had my fair share of problems with them.

true, once both devices are connected they should communicate at no less than 54mb/s. I'll look into it
  8. You are on wireless? Even more cause of troubles.

It should work, with an empasis on should

  9. my god what am I talking about. Ethernet. 100mb/s
  10. Then it really should work. 100 mbit/s is more than enough. Dont know then Could still be the router, or the way you stream it. Dont have a PS3 though, just heard a lot of good stories
