1. The PS3 and standard ethernet connection should be able to play HD without loss in quality :S Although taper's codec (settings) might be bugging you :S

    Could be a connection quality issue on my end (router on a shitty dsl extension).

    I'm more than happy with the SD stuff and audio streaming though. The time for a good powerful desktop is quickly approaching though.
  3. DSL connection does not affect internal network quality. Router maybe the issue though, had my fair share of problems with them.

    true, once both devices are connected they should communicate at no less than 54mb/s. I'll look into it

  7. Then it really should work. 100 mbit/s is more than enough. Dont know then Could still be the router, or the way you stream it. Dont have a PS3 though, just heard a lot of good stories

  9. the SD stuff is perfect. Only file giving me trouble is that Paris HD multi-cam.

  11. should have waited for the standard dvd. None of these HD releases have impressed me.
