Worth it if you're into that sort of thing. Some people will just settle for a TV lol.
At germcevoy, which Onkyo reciever you looking at/price range?

How did you hack your Nokia 5800 back then? I just changed the product code to get the latest firmware v50 and changed back to my original product code, but that isn't hacking.
What did you do and what are the risks?

I only have the walkthrough of the hack for v40 firmware. The guys that wrote that hack are testing it out on v50

haven't picked a specific model yet but £400-£500 should suffice

Going to be a pretty decent piece of kit then. Obviously can't give any real recommendations because I have no idea what you want to run through it. Quite a difference in price once you move from the TX-SR3/SR5 to the SR8 models though. Quick canvas and the SR3 to SR6 models range between £200 and £300, then the SR8 models start from around £450.
Yamaha are supposed to produce good recievers too so might be worth checking them out.
Been looking at some home cinema equipment myself over the past few months but I'm yet to make any decisions for several reasons, the main reason being the cost.

Bricked my Nokia a few times, pressing 'u' before connecting USB cable pushes the phone into flash mode. Then it was very easy to flash.
Not sure if the 5800 has a trick like that.
