    I like it the older way of having the icon and title there but then that's just me in old-school mode. It's much neater and more modern-looking and that I like. Lots of little niggling UI issues but then it's a good enough system, can you complain that much about looks? MS wasn't always great with UIs (Paint) but they did alright in 7, overall.

    I'm happy with it so far. A bit more tweaking and the 'invalid key code' issue is still needed though. I'm off to bed so g'night to y'all.
  2. You can bring the titles back in the taskbar. You'll loose the grouping though. Don't know why you'd want that though

    What do you mean the grouping? Can't you set it as 'Combine when taskbar is full' - or do you mean the little preview icons without the titles?

  6. Just got an external hard drive (more bootlegs ) and it's taking hours to transfer all my files


  7. What size did you get? I've got a 320 but it just doesn't hold as much as I thought - but then at the time I wasn't storing hundreds of lossless CDs or song mixes - those can take up to 1GB by themselves for the smallest change such as a new drum loop or extra snare.

    Speaking of which, is it possible to get a vocoder plugin for Audacity?

    I got a 750Gb one was 160 Aus dollars, which wasn't too bad in my opinion

    Any ideas on how to change where iTunes sources the files from so I don't have to manually change it thousands of times before I delete them off the system hard drive?

    That's not too bad - seen cheaper no-name ones though.

    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1449 - that says for Mac, but I figure it's the same for Windows if you're using it; I've formatted my laptop without iTunes as yet so I can't even remember. But make sure you backup at least before you change it.

    When you say back up do you mean have them on the external hard drive before you do anything?

    And with good reason too. Although it'd only be the casing and not the actual drive instead - which is the important bit. For a bit more though you may as well go a big-name that you know is gonna work for a lot longer and you can actually get support with.

    If the music files are on the external drive, then that's alright - I thought you hadn't backed them up yet. I didn't read what you wrote.
  12. I noticed some strange behaviour on my N900, sometimes u2start wouldnt load the last page of a thread. It always opens the first. Think its a µB-bug (n900 browser). But I dont think i had this before. Could be buggy software update or something like that.

    Anyone who has issues using u2start on mobile devices?
